2001 Karmann Transformer Concept

As usual, the emphasis on this Karmann creation a ‘dual top’ retractable roof. The new canopy system consists of a softop portion attached to a fixed rear glass dome. This setup provides for a more compact folding roof that yields more trunk space. This is the 4th major evolution of the retractable top and has many future applications in upcoming convertibles.
